Three things you must check
- AZoning
Confirm what the county allows on that lot. A cheap lot may not be buildable for a home.
- BFlood zone
In Florida it changes your insurance, the height of the house and the cost to build.
- CWater and sewer
City utilities, or a well and septic? That is thousands of dollars of difference.

About Ozzy
I started out hauling blocks. Today I teach people to build wealth.
I am Ozzy Landa. I came to the United States in 2003 and started at the bottom: mason's helper, electrician's helper, painter. I earned my electrician license and in 2012 opened my own construction company.
I then ran operations for almost nine years on multifamily, hotel, retail, hospital, university and airport projects. I grew up around blueprints and job sites: my father was a civil engineer and architect.
Today I use that experience to help more people, in the U.S. and abroad, buy land, build their home and get funded without the mistakes that cost thousands of dollars.
